Today was a hungry day for me. My appetite soared! My lunch was over by 11:00 a.m. and, yes, I ate breakfast too!
As the days get shorter, the sun hides behind the clouds, and in the north country it is getting cold. There is a tendency for me to want to prepare for hibernation. It is harder for me to get up in the mornings and in the afternoons I am ravenously hungry!
But . . .today I learned something significant. Eat enough for breakfast! So, even though my breakfast and lunch were all done by 11:00 a.m., I wasn’t starving in the afternoon, and had more control when it came to dinner.
Also, keep moving. Exercise is so important. It lifts your mood, and definitely helps with the appetite. Get outdoors and soak in fresh air when possible. If you hate the cold, find anything to keep yourself moving, like a DVD or try a Rebounder (mini trampoline) for something different.
Read here why you may be ravenously hungry, and what you can do to ward off those uncontrollable food frenzy breakdowns. Knowledge is power!
